I was the one who created this sim for FS2002 and got the 3D model from the author Edgar Rothschild Fouche. I did not upgrade this sim for the next FS versions due to some "unwelcome communications".

I love this game. I've loved it since it came out. I mastered it years ago, forgot about it, then rediscovered and mastered it again. I'm just bummed that the game ends after you reach a particular level! I know it was just a throwaway flash game, one of millions, but I sure would like to have seen a longer version of it.

I think it should depend on your audience. Words should communicate, not block communication. Reaction on form over function seems to be deepened by the adding more complex words technique in the cited study. The feeling conveyed in this article suggests a 'better than you attitude' that is really unattractive.

Except that jargon is often used to make the subject more exclusive. It's not a question of bigger words, per se, rather that many words have had their more precise meanings bastardized. For example, infamous and notorious are now used as synonyms for famous making it difficult for someone to convey a different meaning. Ideally, one should use whatever word conveys the exact meaning one wishes to convey. That precision is being lost.
